Who Is Amanita?

Amanita Funaro is a Mexican–Russian-Jewish– Italian– American interdisciplinary artist with roots in New York and Mexico City. Growing up in New York and Mexico’s art scene, Funaro seamlessly navigates working in different mediums such as graphic design, illustration, and accessory design (Amo Amu Accessories). Funaro draws inspiration from her multi–cultural background to create pieces that evoke a feeling of nostalgia of childhood and exuberance within viewers and wearers of her work. Amanita Funaro’s goal is to create a world that is inclusive and promotes individualism among the world's loudest rule breakers.
